Lucrezia Smocking Dress

With a smocked upper insert, this dress has a round neckline with bound slit and ties at the back. The shape is oversized and flowy with slightly cropped long sleeves, finished with a small closed cuff. Pockets in the side seams and a full length feel.

STORY
Inspired by Lucrezia Borgia, an Italian noblewoman of the renaissance who was the daughter of Pope Alexander VI, known for having received a humanist education, speaking Italian, Catalan, French, Latin, and understanding Greek. She was familiar with the works of Dante and Petrarch, wrote poetry and music, was instructed in eloquence, and danced with considerable skill.
